A Case of Acute D.D.S. Intoxication with Toxic Myocardiopathy.

Abstract

|
A 64 year-old woman was carried t ) emergency room of this Hospital under the semicomatose state after ingestion of 5gm of Diaminodiphenylsulfone:(D. D. S.) for therapy of the lower leg palsy.
Positive physical sign was cyanosis of the lips and gum.
Examination of electrocardiogram(E. C. G.) taken during semicomatose state and cyanotic lips showed inverted T wave in V4-6. However, this inverted T wave returned to normal after whole blood transfusion.
